Imagine this for a second. You have that ‘perfect’ body you’ve always wanted. Now what? What can you achieve with that ‘perfect’ body? Other than taking a few perfect images, of course!

The answer is NO.
If you don’t love the way you are right now, you won’t love yourself even if you somehow get the ‘perfect’ body. If your family or friends are not accepting and loving you as you are right now, what makes you think that they will magically start to love you then.
A lot of women like you and me struggle with poor or negative body image. Even a lot of men go through the same struggle. Most people fall prey to negative body image. Do you think that there’s a problem with all these people? HECK NO!!!
All these people, including you, are normal. This is what human beings look like. But do you want to know what is not normal? Those UNREALISTIC BEAUTY STANDARDS!
You may convince yourself that the culprits behind these standards are those models and celebrities we see in magazines, billboards, and social media. But deep down, you know who the real culprit is.
You have given them the power to control and manipulate you into thinking that there is some problem with you. If you’re healthy, have no illness or medical issues, then you’re perfect. What more do you want?
There are people out there who are barely alive. They suffer from pain daily. Do you think they wish for a beautiful body? No, they wish for good health and some kind of relief from all that pain.
Body positivity is not just about feeling good about yourself. It’s also about making your family, friends, and even strangers feel good about themselves. Love is the first step towards body positivity. Love yourself. Be kind to yourself and others as well.

Follow these 5 tips to improve your body image. These tips also helped me to love and appreciate my body. I’m positive they will help you too.
When you love somebody, you take care of them, right? Do the same for yourself. Take care of yourself. Be kind and gentle. Not just mentally, but physically as well. Wash your face and body gently. Wash your hair with care (Hey! That rhymed). You’re the most precious thing in your life. So, you need to love yourself.
Unfollow every page that promotes unrealistic beauty standards. Instead, follow people that reinforce positivity. Use the internet to gain knowledge and information. Aren’t you sick of all that flawless skin and perfect summer body posts? You just have to unfollow them. Simple.
Find a purpose. Learn something new. Use the internet to gain knowledge. Avoid social media as much as you can.
Seriously, that is annoying. Don’t rely on others to boost your confidence. People’s opinions should not matter to you. Even if they’re positive or negative. Only you should define yourself. Don’t give power and access to people that they rule your life.
If you like an outfit, you like it, period. Your friends have no say in it.
This tip r helped me a lot. What you need to do is to destroy the negative thoughts as soon as they appear. You have just 10 seconds to destroy it, or else it won’t go away for a long time. How will I destroy my negative thoughts?
Tell yourself out loud that this is not a correct thought. It has no link with reality. Then start to repeat positive self-affirmations out loud. For example, say this out loud every time you look into the mirror:
Meditate and practice gratitude
Meditation brings inner peace. You feel calm and content after meditating. Once I started meditating, I couldn’t stop. You’ll feel incredible about yourself if you combine body-positive affirmations with meditation.
Don’t forget to practice gratitude. Write down the things you’re grateful for. And remember that you are beautiful the way you are. Don’t beat yourself up if you think negatively. Keep trying. Don’t give up. I believe in you.
